Position: Clinical Applications Specialist

As part of our Intake Department, the Clinical Applications Specialist responds to, and processes telephone and fax, orders and inquiries from patients and referral sources, focusing in the treatment of sleep disorder patients.
Other Responsibilities: This position works closely with our Clinical Services Department and is responsible for initiating contact with our patients to ensure prompt treatment of respiratory needs and that appropriate insurance guidelines are met. In supporting both our Intake and Clinical Service Departments, this position holds responsibilities such as, but not limited to; verification of insurance benefits, data entry, processing orders, providing instruction to patients and/or caregivers on the proper use of Nasal CPAP equipment and procedures, ensuring patients and/or caregivers can effectively operate and maintain equipment, as well as routine patient follow-up to maximize patient compliancy and treatment.
Requirements: A successful candidate must have a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar position or sleep lab environment with basic knowledge of sleep disorders and treatment. This person must possess excellent communication skills, strong time management and organizational skills, be team oriented, have exceptional attention to detail, the ability to quickly problem solve, and maintain a professional and courteous image.
