Position: Customer Service Intake Representative

Description: Advantacare Medical is the leading regional provider for Home Oxygen, Respiratory, Nutritional, and Medical Equipment services. By setting the community standards with excellence in patient care, customer satisfaction and innovative relationships, you will be given the opportunity to work with many highly trained clinicians and cutting edge technology. As part of our Intake Department, a Customer Service Representative responds to, and processes a high volume of telephone and fax, orders and inquiries from patients and referral sources for many different types of services such as Oxygen and other respiratory therapies, Mobility products, and various Durable Medical Equipment items.
Other Responsibilities: This position works closely with our Distribution, Clinical Services and Reimbursement Departments and is responsible for initiating contact with our patients/caregivers to ensure prompt treatment of their needs, as well as assuring that appropriate insurance guidelines are met. This position holds responsibilities such as, but not limited to; verification of insurance benefits, data entry, processing all types of orders and re-orders, and supporting our retail locations.
Requirements: A successful candidate must have a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar field such as a medical office or call center. This person must possess excellent communication skills, strong time management and organizational skills, be team oriented, have exceptional attention to detail, the ability to quickly problem solve, and maintain a professional and courteous image. Bi-lingual a plus.
